Wishlist Wednesday

If you haven't already heard...

and I'm participating with 20% off my entire store. In celebration of this, Aileen Miracle is hosting a Wishlist Wednesday linky party.

Today, I'll be sharing with you some of the items that are on my wishlist. They're actually in my cart right now, but I think it counts!

First, I'll share a product from my own store. It's my Kindergarten Music Interactive Notebook. I'm showcasing this resource for two specific reasons. First, I think this notebook can apply to many different situations, as the pages themselves can be used for a variety of purposes, not just as interactive notebooks. Second, I'm in the midst of an update and revision of all my interactive notebooks (kindergarten through sixth grade). In the next few weeks, I'll be adding pages to each notebook and making some updates. Ultimately, I hope music teachers will be able to get more use out of them than they already do.

If you've purchased my notebooks previously, you'll be able to download all the revisions and updates for free by going to "My TPT", selecting "My Purchases", and clicking on "Download Now". Once my updates are complete, I'll be sure to include a note to buyers that states exactly what I added to the notebooks.

The next item in my wishlist cart is from Elizabeth Caldwell over at Organized Chaos. You may remember that she wrote a guest post on my blog in November, in which she wrote Music Teaching from a World Traveler's Perspective. Her TPT store is aptly named Music All Around Us, and I've chosen her Find the Musical Treasures set. Since I don't have a classroom anymore, I'm really looking forward to surprising a music teacher friend with this today!

The following is an excerpt from Elizabeth's description: This set of resources is the perfect way to give students an overview of music from all around the world, whether as an introduction or as a capstone lesson. The set includes powerpoint slides with links to videos showing authentic musical performances from 17 different countries, worksheets for students to use either to focus on a particular country or get an overview of many different cultures, and suggestions for uses of the resources. The powerpoint slides would be perfect for a SmartBoard or other interactive board, or projected from a computer.

The final item in my cart is one of many clipart sets that I've been hoarding. I'm a long-time fan of Cavallet's work, so I'm looking forward to getting these lace borders. I love the color palette, and I'm hoping to incorporate some of the borders into new designs for my Music Teacher Planner and Binder Set. I'm hoping to release several new designs of the binder and planner set over the summer.

Thanks to Aileen for hosting today's linky party. Happy shopping!
