YELLOW BRICK ROAD MUSIC

If you’re a new follower of my blog, welcome! Today’s post will be much different from my usual fare. While I love writing about lesson ideas, I also love to hear from readers and fellow bloggers. Each month I share my small goals and encourage other bloggers and readers to do the same. So, if you’re a blogger, please follow the directions at the end of this post to link up. If you’re a reader, please share your small goals for the month in the comments section!

Here are mine:

CELEBRATE
This one is kind of cheating, but it’s my birthday month, and I’ll cheat if I want to. I’ve forgotten how old I am (32) several times this year, which could mean that I need to pay more attention to my birthday. 32 years  is too young to be forgetting my age. I can save that for when I’m 95 and telling everyone who will listen that I’m barely pushing 80.

CREATE A SMALL GOALS BUTTON
I’m hoping to create a Small Goals Linky Party Button that everyone can use each time they link up to one of my posts. Below is what I’ve designed so far. What do you think? Do you like it? Should I change something? Let me know in the comments section.

KEEP MY ORCHIDS ALIVE
I know, you’re probably sick and tired of hearing about my sick and tired orchids. However, much to your (and my) surprise, I’ve managed to keep them both alive. However, my newest orchid’s leaves have become limp and are wrinkling slightly. If you know anything at all about orchids, please give me some tips in the comments below. I’m at my wit’s end with these plants!

  1. My small goals for May are:

    1. Finish out the school year strong! (And by that, I mean with no incident).
    2. Get outside! The weather has been so nice here on the weekends, but I've been so tired that I've been sleeping it away! :'(
    3. RELAX. Oh wait… I think that's my goal every month 😉

    1. The weather has been awesome the past few days here too! Though, it's raining as I type this :/ Also, I should mention that you won my giveaway! I just sent you an e-mail, so be sure to check your inbox 🙂
